From 1970-1981, Sondheim emerged as the leading composer and lyricist of his generation, pushing the Broadway musical forward in a new direction. The program features musical numbers from Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures, Sweeney Todd and Merrily We Roll Along.

THERE’S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS: The Music of Irving Berlin!

From his first hit song Alexander’s Ragtime Band in 1911 through An Old-Fashioned Wedding, written for the 1966 revival of Annie Get Your Gun, Berlin’s 1,500 songs reached the hearts of Americans and paid tribute to his adopted country. This program will honor the man and spotlight his music, which remains an integral part of our musical heritage.

Grab your space suit and get ready for an interactive musical adventure in outer space.  With the help of her trusty talking dog, Captain Chaos and Rover, the dancing robot from Mars, Allie is on a mission across the solar system to save Earth.  Recommended Grades Pre-K through Grade 3.  (Running Time: Approximately 50 minutes)
